MOONDANCE Villa in Fresnaye is officially open for business. The re-launch last week revealed a stylish and beautifully appointed property that has undergone a chic makeover under the expert eye of the Berman Brothers Group.
Location & views
Moondance is spectacularly situated in one of South Africa’s most sought after suburbs. Against a backdrop of Lions Head it shows off sweeping views of Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Robben Island and across the Atlantic. All this and Cape Town, once again voted the World’s Best City by 90,000 readers of the UK Telegraph. It’s an unbeatable combination.
Create unforgettable occasions
As a private rental, Moondance’s offering is outstanding. It sleeps eight and offers complete privacy and is ideal for intimate weddings, launches and functions. In addition to all the modern conveniences, it also boasts the largest private gym on the Atlantic seaboard, professionally equipped with an on-site steam room.
Design and space
Moondance was designed by the well known Capetonian architect Stefan Antoni. Features include a statement staircase above an indoor water feature, spacious open-plan living and entertainment areas that inter-connect several lounges, bar areas and the dining room on the ground floor. There are four en-suite bedrooms and the master suite, a generous 260m², comes complete with walk-in closets, a private lounge and kitchenette.
The terraces are complete with BBQ areas, Koi ponds and there is a secluded olive grove, a unique addition. Decorated with contemporary South African art, the villa also has an under-pool bar, in addition to a Smart Lounge and Cinema Room.
Seasonal rates vary between R65,000 and R130, 000 per night, inclusive of a butler service, fibre, 24 hour security, full breakfast and stocked bars on check-in.
Until next time,
